The "Vallée des Oiseaux"
At the heart of Agadir, on the bed of a former wadi, is the most exotic and the most restful place of the city : the "Vallée des Oiseaux".
After having discovered the historic and cultural aspect of Agadir by visiting in particular the Kasbah, you should not miss the most quietest place of the city: the "Vallée des Oiseaux". Extending over 2,5 hectare from the city center to the edge of the sea, this zoo garden is a real haven of peace.
You will find exquisite exotic vegetation made by banana trees, by magnolia, by parkinsonia, by bougainvilleas, of callistemon, and by oleanders, as well as a multitude of animals. Besides the various species of birds as the pink Flemish or the ducks, the valley also shelters Magot Monkeys, some lamas and even kangarooes.
To be free in your travels and make the most of your stay in Agadir, it is better to rent a car. For that purpose, make appointment in one of the two Hertz stations of the city: on the avenue Mohamed V or at the airport Agadir Al Massira.
