North of Morocco, between Tanger and Nador, lies the village of El Jebha. Rent a car and discover this small town known for its tranquility and its beautiful beaches.
On the Mediterranean coast of Morocco, the village of El Jebha is a little paradise. Visited by relatively few tourists, this port city is a haven of peace. People come here to relax and to enjoy the beautiful beaches in the area.
The beaches of El Jebha are indeed among the most beautiful and cleanest in the region. On the east side of the city center, at the foot of the mountains of Western Rif, is Marsedar creek. As carved into the rock, this hidden beach has a small strip of fine sand. With its turquoise water and its raw nature, this cove, cut off from the world is among the most beautiful places of the country.
The port of El Jebha is also worth visiting. We walk there to admire the traditional boats and we stop in one of the small restaurants in the souk to enjoy fresh fish, including sardines – a specialty of the region.
A little advice from Hertz Morocco : rent an automatic car to easily drive to El Jebha.
The town of El Jebha is only a 2h45 drive from Tanger. To go there, and to discover all the beauties of the Mediterranean coast of Morocco, consider renting a car.
